Textiles and surface design

Prints - Favourite part of the textile area - easy to reproduce if you don't like the result and many can be made if you are happy with it. Also liked the effect of building up layers underneath the print.

4 Pieces some made up of different layered materials for example textured paper and envelopes and some simple sugar paper. Them in different ways we drew objects onto the surface to create a built up surface  enjoyed creating the pieces and the overall effect

Following creating our 4 designs we took inspiration and made 2 long final designs. I found this difficult a possibly due to the fact that i knew these were final designs where the others had been experiments therefore there was less pressure for it to be good. however
