3D design work

We drew a number of observations from different objects and focused on the small details of the shapes we found most interesting

Using a piece of card with ink to create drawings. I found this technique more interesting than simple pen or pencil. mainly because of the many different effects you could create and how bold the pictures turn out.

Then we created card/paper models out based around our drawings and the shapes we liked. my drawings ad focused on the round shape so i tried to incorporate this into the design
For some reason i really struggled possibly because of the material- it was quite hard to bend and manipulative

 

 

Perspective drawing- i found this difficult to grasp at first but i found it a very effective way of drawing in perspective which is almost impossible to achieve accurately without this method.
